Eric Estes, Founder


Before founding ECO, Eric was a Managing Director at Siguler Guff UK LLP where he established and managed the London office for New York-based Siguler Guff & Co for Fund of Funds operations (global distressed debt, US mid market buy-out and BRIC countries) and for New York/Moscow-based Russia Partners.

Prior to that, Eric has been managing fundraising operations for over 8 years in both Europe and the US, working as a partner at Campbell Lutvens & Co Ltd, WR Hambrecht & Co LLC and as a Vice President at ING Barings LLC.


Eric began his career at Overseas Private Investment Corporation in Washington DC conducting reviews of OPIC (an agency of the U.S. Government) investment funds and later moved to directing investor relations at H&Q Asia Pacific Ltd in San Francisco and at Zephyr Management L.P. in New York where he first started directing fundraising activities. Eric holds a BSc from the University of Nevada and an MBA from George Washington University.


Daniel Roddick

 

Daniel Roddick CFA, Principal


Daniel has over ten years experience in corporate finance, private equity & strategy consulting; most recently as a consultant and trusted advisor to a number of London-based private equity firms. Prior to this, Daniel was Vice President at Campbell Lutyens Co. Ltd where he assisted fund managers raising private equity funds and advised on the sale and restructuring of private equity assets. Daniel also led Campbell Lutyens marketing of funds across the Nordic region.

Before Campbell Lutyens Daniel was at McKinsey, working across London, Munich and Amsterdam in their Corporate Finance and Strategy Practice. Typical studies included deal strategy, transaction valuation, portfolio restructuring, strategic due diligence, shareholder value management and investor communications.

Daniel has an MEng in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University and is a CFA charter holder.
